A warm welcome to all our dedicated school ministers, and administrators joining the ASA Chaplaincy Convention! We are thrilled to ascend with you this week and gain spiritual altitude. Leading Adventist school ministry is a heavy calling, often tempting us to fix our gaze on the relentless daily crises, but Paul’s radical call in Colossians 3 urges us to shift our perspective: “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things”. This is a convention to elevate your leadership. By centering on secure identity rather than anxious striving, we are empowered to shed the heavy spiritual weights of cynicism and frustration, preparing us to lead from a place of spiritual response.

Get ready for a profound wardrobe change as we focus on intentionally “dressing for leadership”. We are called to clothe ourselves in the endless supply of Christ’s compassion, kindness, and perfect love to guard against compassion fatigue. We are excited to work with you, worship alongside you, and fellowship with all of you as we commit to leading with all our hearts for His glory!
