The Source for Chaplain Resource Is Here – Of Course.

If it wasn’t for the expertise of Pr Simon Hutton [Victorian Conference Chaplaincy Coordinator] I would be still be receiving 5 gigatons of login code texts to the aucchaplain Dropbox every second! Not all that long ago Dropbox entered into a compulsory 2 factor authentication deal for the Chaplains’ Resource Dropbox that I have had in operation for over 10 years. Over those 10 years I/we have methodically populated the site with all things useful for the school chaplain. However, once 2 factor authentication hit, it proved to be a nightmare for people to try and login in order to access resources. That is until Simon walked through the door said, “No worries, let’s just build ourselves a website that will do the same thing – but easier!” So he did!

Where you have landed right now is the culmination of a ‘few’ [😁]  late nights for Simon. He has been toiling away, brick upon brick, building our new Chaplains’ Resource Website to the point where we can begin to use it! Thanks Simo. 

Here you will find all the resources that where sitting in our Dropbox, but now we have begun to add much more.

We have also tried to catalogue the resources we have already uploaded a little better so as you waltz through the site you’re able to better locate what you are looking for. Spiritual Health Check Login

The aim of the Spiritual Health Check is to give opportunity for the school community to reflect on its spiritual tone in all areas of it’s operation and reach. Employing the Spiritual Health Check will also provide a summary that will inform how the school is satisfying its spiritual goals with respect to Vision, Mission and Values. Once you have completed a Spiritual Health Check the results will generate meaningful conversations around the school’s spiritual tone, strengths, opportunities and focus areas.  

 

The Spiritual Health Check is simple to use and Simon has worked long and hard to ensure that each school [48 in total] have their own specific login credentials. 

 

MI Reporting [Mission Impact]

This menu item is designed to make your MI instrument more accessible and easy to use. Remember that the Mission Impact Report holds immense significance for several key reasons:

1. Spiritual Impact: It provides a holistic view of the spiritual growth within our schools and helps us trace the impact we’re making in building God’s kingdom.
2. Advocating Chaplaincy: It serves as vital evidence that underpins the indispensable work chaplains are doing in our schools. This, in turn, strengthens our case as we seek greater support from the school company and the conference for increased resources in this vital ministry area. In essence, future chaplaincy jobs might very well depend on it.
3. Informing Future Decisions: Over the years, these records have allowed us to identify trends and patterns. This information becomes instrumental in guiding our future decisions and setting goals for chaplaincy and ministry in our schools. It uniquely empowers local school principals and chaplains to have accurate, concrete data to guide their future ministry and objectives in the coming years.
